1000 Designers Were Fired
The entire Yahoo Design Innovation Team, aka yHaus, has been fired, Portfolio has confirmed with one of the team's former members: "Yahoo Design Innovation team has been shut down completely," said Doug Fritz, a former full-time staffer for the team. What's up? The team had been working on next generation design projects. But last week, more than 1000 designers have been fired as portal struggles to cope with operating costs that are rising much faster than revenue is growing.
As a person which was fired recently due to 'restructurisation' in some American IT company, I can just tell: "Welcome on board, guys! You can now live your own excellent freelance designer living". Freelance Designer asked everywhere.
Who knows, maybe some will come into Freelance SEO? Some reviewer said: - They had a design team? Coulda' fooled me!
