At the time when bands promote themselves at MySpace and Youtube instead of their own website and ad campaigns direct people to participate in a social media rather than visit a branded website, Eric Schmidt notices: '...this is the beginning of the real win of cloud computing, of applications, of the internet, which is changing the paradigm that we’ve all grown up with so that it just works regardless of platform or hardware you’re using' and introduces the HTML5 (the must read for ALL webdesigners and SEO Freelancers too). Latest Firefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome (still not IE :) already support it. The most interesting HTML5 brings are - Web As Platform - canvas, audio / video, geolocation, web workers, appcache / database.
Since Microsoft is goes to launch an $80 million to $100 million campaign for Bing, the search engine, and Wolfram|Alpha already shows a new approach to a new kind of knowledge-based computing, it is clear SEO in the future will progress at the same rate as SE' do. That means a lot of work for SEO Freelancer. As grandpa Brecht had been told: "Learn to learn that to learn". And don't forget to specify your Twitter on your business card.

Does html really need a new version? Shouldn't the focus for webdevelopment be on xhtml or even xml?
Eric Schmidt, CEO of GoogleMobile phones are cheaper than PC's, there are three times more of them, growing at twice the speed, and they increasingly have Internet access. What is more, the World Bank estimates that more than two-thirds of the world's population lives within range of a mobile phone network. Mobile is going to be the next big Internet phenomenon. It holds the key to greater access for everyone - with all the benefits that entails.
