IE8 arrived
IE8 had arrived! 'Windows Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) is fully compliant with the CSS, Level 2 Revision 1 (CSS 2.1) specification and supports some features of CSS Level 3 (CSS 3)'. Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, says "With Internet Explorer 8, we are delivering a browser that gets people to the information they need, fast, and provides protection that no other browser can match". Some CSS3 features? Not many. SVG support? No. Also problems with 'opacity'. Check it.

Eric Schmidt, CEO of GoogleMobile phones are cheaper than PC's, there are three times more of them, growing at twice the speed, and they increasingly have Internet access. What is more, the World Bank estimates that more than two-thirds of the world's population lives within range of a mobile phone network. Mobile is going to be the next big Internet phenomenon. It holds the key to greater access for everyone - with all the benefits that entails.
